The following ladies will represent the 3 X Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots on the sidelines and throughout the community for the 2008 season. On Saturday, April 5, the final roster of 23 cheerleaders was announced. These rehearsals included learning choreography, executing hundreds of high kicks, running all of the ramps at Gillette Stadium, stretching, Pilates and Kickboxing classes and public speaking training sessions. 32 women, to include veteran cheerleaders who were re-auditioning, then began a two-week session of optional practices in the cheerleader field house. Final auditions took place on Saturday, March 22, to include a swimsuit modeling segment, a question and answer session with the panel of judges, the performance of two routines learned at preliminaries, a freestyle dance segment and an optional tumbling pass.

Just one week later, 300 women traveled to Gillette Stadium, despite heavy wind and rain, for preliminary auditions.
